Target Coatings EM6000� is the upgraded successor to the very popular Ultima Spray Lacquer.
EM6000 is a unique water-based lacquer that generates 100% burn-in regardless of the age or cure time of the previous coat. The clarity, depth-of-image and buffability of EM6000 is unlike any other water-based lacquer currently available.
Durability and chemical resistance of EM6000 is equal to high-end solvent-based catalyzed lacquers. It is also non-flammable, VOC compliant and HAPS Free.

The best Waterbased lacquer i've used!\
This Product is by far the best waterbased lacquer/varnish i've had the chance to use. I Build Custom Musical instruments, i have been able to dye the color, spray beautifull bursts, seal my wood with it.. even do very easy touch up with a simple small brush for repairs... its clear and feels like nitro lacquer.. Love it

sprayed on with the ego gun and a 1mm tip gave a very good finish only had to wipe down with a liquid sanding scratch remover to get a perfect finish
Excellent
As title says it's excellent, very easy to use and I get great results straight up from the can. I've had no issues using this product over Seal Coat. It works well over normal latex paint as well.
Awesome Product
Up to this point I have always typically used Urethane - not any more. This is amazing stuff. I would dread finishing - not any more. Simple dead to use and no toxic fumes.
Cherry Furniture
I followed your recommendation for the WR stain (Cherry Toner) on cherry wood i.e. sealing it first with EM6000 diluted by 25%, sanding at 320 (I actually sanded it with 400) and staining. I put three coats of EM6000 on top. Results are just amazing. The color looks like natural aged cherry. Thanks a lot for your advice. These products are so easy to use that finishing starts to become one of my favorite steps of building furniture. :)
