Kovax Super Assilex is a revolutionary total dry abrasive system that cuts buffing times by 50% or more.  Achieve a more uniform and shallow scratch pattern that is much easier to polish out than conventional fine finishing abrasives. Minimize your compound buffing and spend less time behind the polisher.

Super Assilex advanced flexible bonding technology produces an extremely shallow and uniform scratch pattern that minimizes the risk of burn through on thin coatings, including waterborne paint and clear finishes.

Sand with the speed of dry sanding while achieving the same super smooth finishes as wet-sanding without the mess.  Clearly see progress without repeated wiping and re-wetting the surface.  It is an ideal abrasive choice when working on waterbased finishes where wet-sanding is not recommended.

The highly refined abrasive grains are rated in Kovax' own K-Number system when compared to P-Graded abrasives show sanding speed of coarser P-Graded products while achieving a higher P-Grade result.   Kovax K-1200 sands as quickly as P-1000 but achieves a P-1200 to P-1500 finish result.  Elimination of stray scratches minimizes sanding time with successive grits and makes final buffing far easier to achieve high gloss results.

For optimal results it is recommended to use the specialized Super-Tack Kovax interface pads, designed to be flexible with proper disc adhesion (included in kit).
